2023 chrysler 300
As the final year of production approaches, Chrysler has decided to bring back the 300C model, which boasts the powerful 6.4-liter V-8 engine that has been a staple in Dodge’s Challenger and Charger models. This engine is rated at an impressive 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.
According to Chrysler, the bigger powerplant will allow the 300C to reach 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. We will have to wait and see if this claim holds true when we put one to the test on our track.
Our top recommendation for the Chrysler 300 is the Touring L model, which offers a great balance of luxury and convenience features at a reasonable price point. It comes equipped with the standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine and can be purchased with either rear- or all-wheel drive.
Additionally, we recommend adding the Comfort Group package for an extra level of plushness. If you’re looking for more power, the 300S with its V-8 engine may be the way to go, but keep in mind the increased fuel consumption and firmer suspension.
As for the range-topping 300C, we have yet to test drive it, but given our love for performance, we suspect it would be worth the extra $21,000. The Touring is the entry-level model in the 300 series, featuring cloth seats and minimal amenities.
However, for those looking for more luxurious options, the Touring L and 300S models offer additional features such as power-adjustable front seats with heat and lumbar support, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather seats with illuminated front and rear cupholders.
Additional options such as heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power-adjustable steering wheel are available on all models except the base Touring.
The new 300C model takes luxury to the next level with Black Laguna leather seats, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, and carbon fiber accents throughout the interior. Chrysler plans to build 2200 300Cs, with 2000 of them being sold in the United States and the remaining 200 being sold in Canada.
The pricing for the U.S. version of the 300C is set at $55,000, fully equipped, and reservation books are now open for those interested in purchasing the vehicle.
