International Korean fried chicken chain opening first Columbus location
The restaurant concept bb.q Chicken will open its first-ever Ohio restaurant soon.
The eatery, will be located 17 E. Lane St., in the University District.
according to franchisees, bb.q Chicken will likely open sometime in 2023 first month.
The eatery’s name stands for “best of the best quality chicken,”
Its menu features crispy Korean fried chicken in a variety of sauces, such as Honey Garlic, Spicy Galbi and Gangnam Style.
Several Korean rice dishes and a variety of appetisers, such as Fried Dumplings and fries dusted with sesame seeds, are also available.
The restaurant will also have a bar serving traditional Korean drinks such as soju and a variety of Korean cocktails.
Multiple partners will own the new Columbus location.
Among them are Anne and Chul Kim, owners of Diaspora, a Korean restaurant at 2118 N. High St. next to bb.q Chicken.
