Stuart Margolin, ‘The Rockford Files’ Co-Star and TV Director, Dies at 82

Actor Stuart Margolin, two-time Emmy winner,

He is well-known for playing Evelyn "Angel" Martin in "The Rockford Files."

Family relatives reported that he passed away on Monday in Staunton, Virginia, from natural causes. Age-wise, he was 82.

The movies "M*A*S*H," "The Fall Guy," "Canon," "Hill Street Blues," "30 Rock," "Days of Heaven," and "S.O.B." also featured Margolin.

Margolin made her acting debut in the early 1960s,

The Gertrude Berg Show and Ensign O'Toole, two classic black-and-white sitcoms, gave him some of his earliest acting gigs.

He went on to appear on shows such as "Bewitched," "That Girl," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," and "The Partridge Family" on a sporadic basis.
